Blessing, Count, & Brief Kabbalah

The only mitzvah of the Omer is to count 49 days from Pesach to Shavuot. “Count” as in, today is the #th day. That’s it. But it’s a mitzvah to beautify a mitzvah. So the blessing before counting each evening has been put to music, and the medieval kabbalists developed a grid of spiritual self-improvement because learning is beauty.

I will be holding the nightly ritual counting all 49 days. Join us for a few nights, a week or two, or the entire journey. 🩵
